A city court on Monday sent a youth nabbed for hacking the website of telecom major Airtel and demanding Rs one crore from the company for not leaking the extracted information to police custody till July four. Concurring with the arguments of Delhi police that the offence allegedly committed by one Ankit Srivastava was grave; Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate allowed seven days custodial interrogation of the accused. Srivastava has been booked under various provisions of the IPC including Section 66 of the Information and Technology Act for breaking into the website of the telecom company.
