Airtel Telemedia Services, the private broadband and telephone service provider, has launched its new all-in-one internet portal for Airtel customers. The airtellive.com marks the first time an Indian Telco in India has made Google products officially available on its portal.
On airtellive.com, customers will receive free access to the company's Google Apps messaging and collaboration suite, which includes Gmail email services, Google Docs for documents, spreadsheets and presentations, Google Calendar shared calendaring, and the Start Page feature for creating a customizable home page. The services will be co-branded and powered by Google and Airtel broadband.
Airtel has also partnered with popular content leaders like shaadi.com, 24x7guru, naukri.com, among others, to offer exclusive deals and discounts on the portal.
Elaborating on the portal, Atul Bindal, president, Airtel Telemedia Services, said, "airtellive.com builds upon the current broadband ecosystem infrastructure to establish an internet destination for web applications. It underlines our commitment towards simplifying and adding value to our broadband customers and driving the adoption of broadband in the country."
The collaboration gives customers easy access to Google's simple and powerful web applications over Airtel s fast, secure and reliable broadband network.
