MUMBAI: Teelcom company Bharti Airtel has achieved the 60 million customer mark, across the mobile, fixed line and broadband spaces. This landmark has catapulted Bharti Airtel into the club of top mobile operators in the world in terms of subscriber base.

Bharti Airtel had crossed the 50 million customer mark in October 2007. The company added the next 10 million customers across mobile, fixed line and broadband in just over four months. The company had crossed the 10 million customer mark in January 2005 and in July 2006 it crossed the 25 million customer mark.
