1. How is a check calculated?

Here is the formula for how a check is calculated:

Check = [(previous balance) + sales - returns + bonus + allowance release] - return allowance* - $2.50.

*Allowance = 10% x [(previous balance) + sales - returns + bonus + allowance release]

Things to keep in mind:

No allowance is held on checks that total $25 or less.
The standard allowance is 10%. However, this percentage may be raised to 20%, 50%, or 100% if our Security Department associates your account with high-risk activity.
Here is an example:

Previous Balance = $50
Sales = $100
Returns = $25
Bonus = $5
Allowance release = $30

Here's the math:

$50 (previous balance)
+ 100 (sales)
- 25 (returns)
+ 5 (bonus)
+ 30 (allowance release)
______
$160 (preliminary total)

Allowance = $160 x 10% = $16

$160 (preliminary total)
- 16 (return allowance)
- 2.50 (pay period processing charge)
________
$141.50 (check amount)

2. When ClickBank makes a sale of my product, how long does it take to appear in my stats?

ClickBank stats are updated within two minutes from the time of purchase, so both publishers and affiliates can access their accounts almost immediately to view their up-to-the-minute earnings.

3. Where can I view my sales?

Upon logging into your account, you are automatically directed to the "Account Home" page. This page contains the sales subtotals for the three most recent pay periods and the sales subtotals for the last fourteen days. The bar graphs next to each day's subtotal give you a quick visual picture of how each day's sales compare to the other days. You can also click any of the bars to see the transactions from that day. From this page, you may select the "Reports" tab for an overview of past activity by pay period, or you may access your detailed daily stats by clicking the "Reporting" tab followed by "Transactions" under "Reporting".

4. Are there any other sales reports available from my ClickBank account?

Clickbank's technical team has also set up the "Paychecks" and "Transactions" stats so that you can import the information from those reports into a spreadsheet. That way, you can manage the information further, as needed.
To import:

Log in to your ClickBank account.
Select the "Reporting" tab, then select "Transactions"
Select the desired preset time range, or enter your own start and end dates, click "Go". This will bring up all of your orders for that date range.
Click the "CSV" icon (comma separated values) at the bottom of your result set.
You will be prompted by your browser to either open or save the comma separated value file.
5. Are there any sales reports for recurring billing products?

Yes! If you are selling or promoting a recurring billing product, Clickbank provides a summary within your account. To find this information, log in to your account, select the "Reporting" tab, and then go to "Analytics." If ClickBank has sold any recurring subscriptions or installments for which you were the publisher or for the affiliate, you will see a link under a section called "Recurring Billing Subscriptions & Installments."

6. How do I run a sales report?

To run a sales report within the stats in your ClickBank account:
Log in to your ClickBank account.
Select the "Reporting" tab, then select "Transactions".
Select one of the preset date ranges for which you want to run your sales report, then click "Go". This will bring up all of your orders for that date range.
You can narrow your search using several different pieces of information or any combination of these pieces:
A. Select a specific day (e.g. January 5th).
B. Select a range of days. To do this, select a specific date and select a range from the calendar and click "Go".
The report will show sales made on the date that you selected through the end of the range.
C. Search by customer name:
To do this, see below:

a. Select the date range in which the customer made his or her purchase.
b. Enter the customer's name in the appropriate field. You can use either the person's last name or the last name and first name. To search by the last name and first name, use this format: lastname.firstname.
For example, to search for Joe Smith, you would enter Smith.Joe in the customer name field.
Please note that there is a period between the last name and first name.
c. Click "Go".
If the customer's order does not appear, check the following:

Make sure the customer's name is spelled correctly.

Make sure that you are entering the name the way that the customer entered it when he made the purchase. For example, you may be searching for Joe Smith, which wouldn't come up if the customer entered J. Smith on our order screen when they originally made their purchase.

Or if the customer accidentally misspelled their name at the time of the purchase (e.g. Joe Smth instead of Joe Smith), you will need to search for Joe Smth on your credit report in order to locate the order.

Make sure you have the correct month for the customer's purchase.

D. Search by the Item #:
Anytime a product is created, an item number is assigned to that product. Searching by the item number allows you to see how many orders you had of a certain product.

To search by item number:

First select the appropriate range of days for which you want to run your report.
Then type the specific item number into the "Item #" field. For example, if you want to know how many orders of your first product you sold in December, select Dec. in the month field, leave the day field as "any", and type 1 in the "Item #" field.
Click "Go".
E. Search by Receipt #:
Each receipt number is unique. No two orders have the same receipt number. To search for a specific order using the receipt number:
Type the receipt number into the "Receipt #" field.
Click "Go".
F. Search by the customer's email address:
To search by the customer's email address:
Select the date range in which the customer made their purchase.
Type the customer's email address into the "Email Address" field.
Click "Go"
If the customer's order does not appear, check the following:

Make sure the customer's email address is spelled correctly.

Make sure that you are entering the address the way that the customer entered it when s/he made the purchase. If the customer accidentally misspelled their address at the time of the purchase (e.g. joe@msm.com instead of joe@msn.com), you will need to search for joe@msm.com on your credit report in order to locate the order.

If the information before the @ is unique, you can try just searching by that part of the email address. For example, if the customer's email address is ilovepizza123@hotmail.com, you can just do a search for "ilovepizza123" using the email address field.

Make sure you have the correct month for the customer's purchase.

7. What are the "Credits" and "Debits" checkboxes for?

These checkboxes will restrict your results to include only the specific transactions that you would like to see. For example, if you want to see only refunds, you would uncheck all the boxes under "Credits", then uncheck all the boxes under "Debits" except "Refunds", then select "Go". Note that you can also select "all" next to either "Credits" or "Debits" to check or uncheck all the boxes in that category.

8. How do I locate a particular sale?

From your "Reporting, Transactions" page, you can search for an order in your transaction reports using several different pieces of information. Before you begin, make sure that "Sales" is selected under the "Credits" heading.
Receipt Number: This is the easiest piece of information to search by. Simply enter the customer's receipt number into the "Receipt #" field, select the month in which the sale took place, and click "search".
Customer Name: You can search by the customer's last name or the last name and first name. Simply enter the information into the field titled "Customer Name," select the month in which the sale occurred, and click "Go". If you are using both the customer's first name and last name, be sure to enter it in this format: lastname.firstname. For example, if you wanted to search for an order placed by Joe Smith, you would enter Smith.Joe in the search field. Please note that a period separates the last name and first name.
Customer Email Address: You can search by the email address the customer used at the time of purchase. Please note that this may or may not be the one they are currently using. To search by the customer's email, simply enter the information into the "Email Address" field, select the month in which the sale occurred, and click "Search".
9. What information is available to me in my transaction reports?

From left to right, the following information is provided to you on each order:
Date: The date the transaction took place.
Time: The time the sale took place. Please note that the time stated is in military time and is always based on Pacific Standard Time.
Receipt: ClickBank receipt number that is unique to that order. If you acted as the affiliate on the sale (as opposed to the publisher), you are only provided with the first 3 characters of the receipt number followed by five X's. If you acted as the publisher, you are given all 8 characters of the receipt number. Each rebill that is associated with that initial payment will have the same 8 digit receipt number as the initial payment, however it will have a dash and an additional 4 characters at the end to show which rebill number it is in the series of rebills.
TID: The Tracking ID of the sale, where applicable.
Pmt: This column tells you how the customer paid for his/her purchase.
CARD: Customer paid by credit or debit card.
PYPL: Customer paid via PayPal.
CHEK: Customer paid with an online check.
Txn Type: This column tells you the type of the transaction.
Sale: A sale transaction
Sale-RB: A sale transaction for the initial sale of a recurring billing product.

Refund: ClickBank approved a return of the order either by the publisher's request or the customer's request. For more information on Clickbank's return policy, please go HERE.
Chargeback: The customer requested a refund from his/her bank. In this case, the profit you earned from the sale is deducted from your account.
If you are the publisher of the product, a $15 bank penalty charge is also deducted from your account. Clickbank will deduct an additional $35 charge per credit card chargeback if your products generate in excess of 1% chargebacks in any 90-day period.
Item: This column tells you which product you sold. If you see 1 in the Item column, it means that the customer bought whatever product you are selling as Item 1 under the "Account Settings" tab under "My Products" within your account.
Amount: This is the amount of the transaction.
Publisher: This tells you the nickname of the publisher who created the product that the customer bought.
Affiliate: This tells you the nickname of the affiliate on the sale (if there was an affiliate).
CC: This stands for "country code". The information in this column tells you where the customer is located.
Last Name: This column tells you the last name of the customer
First Name: This column tells you the first name of the customer
